Arzu got her B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Tebriz University, in 2005. In 2006, she started her studies toward M.S. degree in biomedical Signal and Image processing in Tampere University, Finland. She started her PhD in Drexel University in Biomedical Engineering in 2007. She is currently doing her research work, using functional near-infrared technology for monitoring brain activity in optical imaging lab. She is currently a board member of the Drexel IEEE Graduate Forum.

Doruk Baykal is a first year PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University. His research areas include Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering. He is currently working in Drexel's Implant Research Center under the supervision of Dr. Steven M. Kurtz on growing cartilage in Hollow Fiber Bioreactor System (HFBR) and wear properties of various materials being used in medical implants. He got his B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabanci University in 2007.

Sevilay Ece Gümüş has double BS in Economics and International Relations from Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey) in 2005. She was the founder and president of Gazi University Career Group, Kar-YON for two years. In addition, Gazi University published sixteen of her articles about several topics. Also, she has an article about Turkish Fiscal Policies in a national newspaper. Currently, she is enrolled in MS in Finance at Drexel University LeBow College of Business. She is a professional folk dancer and was a member of AFDAG, Ankara dance and Ministry of Culture. She likes playing squash and traveling.

Izmir Amerikan Koleji ve Gazi Universitesi Halkla Iliskiler Bolumu'nden sonra 3 yil Izmir'de kendi Grafik/Reklam ajansimda calistim. 1997 yilinda ufkumu genisletmek ve Master yapmak icin Amerika'ya geldim. Drexel Universitesi 'Publications Management' bolumunu 2000 yilinda bitirdim. Birkac yil cesitli kuruluslarin yayin ve sayfa duzenleme islerinde calistim. 2003 yilindan beri Drexel universitesi Biomedikal Muhendisligi bolumunde Arastirma Proje Sorumlusu olarak calismaktayim. Ayni zamanda da yine Drexel Universitesi Egitim Fakultesinde 'Egitimde Liderlik' konusunda doktora yapmaktayim.

Gözde Şenel is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University since 2006. She got her B.Sc. degree of Biological Science and Bioengineering from Sabanci University in 2006. Her research interests are Stem Cell Technology, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. She is currently working on the differentiation of Adipose derived Stem Cells into multiple lineages in Dr.Lelkes's lab. She is currently serving as the vice-president of Drexel Turkish Student Association.

Ferit Tüzer is a PhD student in Biochemistry at Drexel University since 2005. He got his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabancı University in 2005. His research interests are viral entry inhibition, cellular signaling pathways and mechanisms of cellular aging. He is currently working on the elucidation of the mechanism of inhibition and application as an immunogen of an HIV-1 entry inhibitor peptide in Dr. Irwin Chaiken's lab. His non-academic interests are computer games and filming.

I'm currently BS/MS student at Drexel University majoring in computer/software engineering. I'm studying towards my senior year and expecting to graduate in June 2009. Regarding my work experience, I completed two co-ops at Siemens MED so far and currently interning in SAP. My main interests include software design, entrepreneurship, and innovation. I enjoy reading business books and articles, blogging, having conversation with my friends about high-technology, and hanging out in Old City in my leisure time. I assisted in various social events and joined some board meetings at Drexel TSA throughout previous academic year and now seeking a more active role to bring my energy and excitement into our association.
